Frequently Asked Questions

For ages 62 and over, $600.00 (one-time payment or four equal yearly consecutive payments of $150.00).  Exempted from future payment of yearly national dues.

For ages under 62, $1,500.00 (one-time payment of four equal yearly consecutive payments of $375.00). Exempted from future payment of yearly national dues.

December 1 of each calendar year

Lifetime members and financial members who have paid their National dues by December 31 before the election year

The National election is the spring of every odd calendar year (2025, 2027, 2029, etc.)

Organized in 1876 and incorporated in 1978

The Lincoln Alumn Association was established in 1876 and officially certified by the Secretary of State of Missouri in July 1978. However, in June 2025, the name was changed to “The 1866 Alumni Association, Inc.”

Any friend or donor of the 1866AA can become an associate by joining a local chapter and paying their annual $50 dues.

Any graduate, honorary degree recipient, or former student who has completed at least one semester at Lincoln University of Missouri is eligible to join the Association.

President, Vice-President, Secretary, Treasurer

The executive committee of the Association and the president of each alumni chapter

Submit application and appropriate dues to local alumni chapter or National Alumni Association on or before December 1 of each calendar year

The National Alumni Convention is held in the summer of every odd calendar year (2025, 2027, 2029, etc.)
